About Jill

Simply
put, I love helping people who want to make the world a better place rise
to the occasion with grace and skill. Whether you're the leader of a
nonprofit organization or a small business owner with a passion for
change, your commitment and vision are my reason for getting up in the
morning. I love my work!
I am blessed to have spent my professional
career working with and for social and environmental change organizations.
First as a program manager, then as development director, assistant
director and now organization development consultant and executive coach,
I help organizations and their leaders remain effective and
inspired.
I deeply believe that in order to bring more
sustainability, compassion and justice into the world, we must find new
ways of understanding ourselves, each other and the challenges before us.
Coaching is one of the best ways I know to do this, and I am deeply
grateful for the growing awareness of this new modality especially in
the social sector.
I'm
known for my forthright and compassionate approach and my ability to
quickly under- stand the dynamics of human systems and how to navigate
times of intense change. I deeply understand how often the stories we
tell ourselves get us off track AND the most easy, graceful way out of
dead-ends and back to the Open
Road.

perspective to my work from experience living in

Seattle's
diverse and thriving South End, and enjoy volunteering with my
